COVID-19 Emergency Business Guidance
On August 13th, 2019, the Towner County Medical Center conducted a Full-Scale Exercise with the Cando Fire Department, Towner County Ambulance Service and Towner County Sheriffs' Department. A Full-Scale exercise is as close to the real thing as possible. There were 11 victims (some were live and some were dummies) needing to be extricated from cars and transferred to the hospital.
On April 6th, 2019, the Rock Lake Fire Department hosted a mass casualty full scale, training exercise just outside of Rock Lake, North Dakota. Firefighters, ambulances, law enforcement and other mutual aide partners from Rock Lake, Cando, Rolla, Bisbee, Egeland, Sarles, Belcourt, St. John and Rolette County participated in the full drill. We would like to thank all that participated that day, as well as thank Chris South for the make-up work that he did for all of the victims and lastly, we would like to thank the surrounding businesses and Farmers Union board members of Towner and Rolette County for supplying the lunch after the exercise.
