2021 Board of Equalization Meetings

Notice to all Taxpayers of Towner County

Notice is hereby given that the Towner County Board of Commissioners will meet as the County Board of Equalization in the Commissioner's Room of the Courthouse on June 1st, 2021 at 10:00am.

​

The meeting is for the purpose of reviewing and equalizing the 2021 Assessment of Property. Each taxpayer has the right to appear before the Board of Equalization and petition for correction of assessment.

​

*As the COVID-19 situation in North Dakota continues, and the requirement to practice social distancing, the State of Tax Equalization Department is recommending Local Boards of Equalization to consider allowing alternate methods for hearing individual property tax appeals. In-person attendance is not required.  Appeals can be submitted via teleconference, written or digital submissions can be submitted to Director of Equalization, bgood@nd.gov by May 31st, 2021.

This notice is given pursuant to the provision of Section 57-02-52 and 57-12-01, North Dakota Century Code.
